Trade (Import/Export)
The single greatest resource of the Tarian Empire is ore. A mining people, roughly 45% of the world's ore deposits are located in Tariana. Tarian steel is a prized commodity in other lands, fetching a high price at markets the world over.
Tariana's infrastructure is among the best in the world, with canals and roads connecting vital areas of the Empire. Throughways, the Tarian term for a primary road, connect the Empire's capitals, with secondary roads giving access to other locations. Roads are minimal along the river Lyth, decades of conflict preventing large construction projects from taking place. The largest and most important road of the Empire is the Pilgrim's Causeway, connecting Adokon to Mount Vrol.
Tariana is also blessed with many seaports. The sea lanes around Tariana are patrolled by the Imperial Navy, and piracy is at a minimum.
