The Salanian culture was founded by a migration from the continent of Ellkana led by Salan, a man searching for freedom. Ellkana had been taken by a corrupt ruler. Reaching the new lands, the Salanians pushed ever toward the eastlands. Planting themselves in the eastern most part of the continent they constructed a massive city known now as Salandorf. Uniting the peoples from the surrounding lands, "Sala" grew quickly. What you see now is the outgrowth of a people blessed by strong leadership throughout their development, with only a few exceptions. You also see a culture who has learned the terror of war, and though hardened, avoids it if possible.
