If you have not done so yet, please sign up for the Adellion Newsletter. Go to the link for Adellion beta and put your email in the box. If you signed up years ago and have a new email address, be sure you either sign up again or change your email in Yahoo Groups. If you don't know how to do that, then just sign up again with your new email address.

The Newsletter will be used as we get closer to alpha to send out important news and alert you to certain things you must do to remain on the beta list or be considered for alpha.

Nothing has been sent out. I have access now so will try to remember to send out notices about updates and upcoming HoC events in the future. I will not be sending out beta update requests for a bit yet. I don't want to do it until closer to alpha so it doesn't have to be done again.

Well, I tried to get onto the Yahoo Message thing and it said that I was already in a Forum so I don't know if I am there or not. :confused:

I always have trouble getting to Yahoo Groups anymore. Wasn't the orginal signup for Adellion a 'Onelist" group and transfered to Yahoo? If so then I should still be on it. If I can manage to get to my groups I will check .

I managed to connect and was already on it. It must be the same group since there are 2200 members now.

Just curious. Is signing up for the newsletter separate from activating a forum account? I would think the latter would include newsletters since you already have our email address and know that we are interested.

The newsletter is seperate from the forum account. :) Sorry, but its a different system.

I am very uncomfortable with the layout on yahoo. To ensure that I don't miss anything: could someone please tell me how to view my newsletters? Do they arrive as email? And at what address; yahoo or secondary? (my main email)

They do arrive as emails but none have been sent out for a while. I just took over the newsletter but its MUCH easier to post here and since we want to target forum users as testers, it makes more sense to post here. But prior to alpha, the newsletter will be used to contact testers and get updated information. Not everyone on the list will be invited into alpha but everyone will get a chance to update their NDAs.

On the topic of NDAs how do I fill one out for Adellion. I realise testers will be chosen from the forums but it sounds like you have to have the NDA filled out already. So do I need to do so and if so how do I got about doing so? I very obviously want to be considered for beta (not sure about alpha as all my testing experience has been beta).

We are not accepting NDAs at the moment. When we do, we will let you know. At this time, the initial alpha testers have already been selected but we will be adding more weekly after alpha starts. You will get a chance to submit an NDA at that time although you will be selected for alpha based on your constructive participation...not by the number of posts...and your dedication to roleplay.

Alpha will be released in the fall and we will be opening alpha to a select group of fans based on contructive involvement on the forums and roleplaying dedication. We do not have a date for beta yet.

Just like to say I'm glad to see Adellion is alive!
I am excited to start following what is happening with it again as I haven't even checked in for 8 months. Sounded like a great game before, still does.
It's sad what is out there for MMORPG's coming up in the next year but Adellion holds great promise.

Not sure who ne1 is, but I can tell you that the release date is still far in the future. We are still in alpha testing and need to go through much more testing before release.

First of all, an angry face is not appropriate when applying for a job or a testing position. Second of all, you can read the requirements for alpha testing in the forums. There is also a thread on job openings. Please follow the directions.
