I usually get into games under the name Greengo, but I have a feeling that I want to be known with a more realistic(?) name in this game.
I have played rpg's and first person shooters for decades. DND titles, DOOM, and more. I have played Runescape and it has a lot going for it, but lacks any real interaction or depth. I loved Oblivion's great graphics and true physics, but the "floating levels" (monsters get badderr as you do) really turned me off.
I played an rpg where your stats are pretty much fixed and your skills are what you focus on and are where you improve, and then only to a degree. You can't become a superman compared to a "newbie" (GURPS i think it was)
This game seems a lot like that idea. A peasant who may actually be very strong can possibly not only defend himself from an experienced fighter, but may actually prevail.
So I look forward to getting to try this game.
That's not to say I don't like a good superhero shoot-em-up (I am looking forward to Champions mmorpg which should be out next year), but I like the idea that I can develop my characters skills and become a hunter or a merchant or both! that I can exercise and it pay off over time.
I hope I will get to try it someday soon.
