New User Moderation

A number of folks have registered to use the forums but were waiting for approval to post. I have approved everyone who has registered. Sorry it took me so long. I am in the process of changing the process to make it easier and faster to approve but a number of you were caught in the transition. :)

I will use this thread to make any announcements regarding changes to the registration and approval process. If you have problems posting, you can contact me via the staff pages on Adellion: Laura Wampfler.

Again, I am trying to make it easier and eliminate the spamming we have been receiving. Thank you for your patience.

Okay, we are going to try this.

When you register, you will be asked to confirm via email. Then you will be automatically able to post. However, your posts will be moderated. After a few posts, you will be approved and become a valued poster of the forums. At this time, your posts will no longer be moderated unless you violate rules. The email verification may be enough but we shall see. :)

Thanks again for your patience! Hopefully this will reduce the problems. I apologize to those of you who are eager to post..but I or one of the moderators will try to verify your posts as soon as possible.

Advertising posts of any kind will not be approved for posting, including those disquised as interested fans.

Please do not PM any of the moderators and ask to have your posts approved. I am the only one who can do that and I check them once a day. It may take 24 hours for you to be able to post..or possibly longer. I am sorry for the inconvenience but this has cleared a great deal of the spam.

If you continue to PM the moderators, you will not have your posts approved. If you read this thread, you will realize that you need to just be patient and wait. If you can't wait for 24 hours, then you won't be able to wait for the game. :)
