Hello everyone,
I would like to welcome three new Lore Conceptualists to the Adellion team. I will leave them to reveal their Forum handles if they wish to do so. Otherwise, they can choose a new handle and surprise you all. :)
Bernard Rapol will be the new Surric and take over as the Cultural Leader for the Sakoians. He is an accomplished writer and has many ideas to improve the culture. Please welcome him to the team.
Connie Woodruff will be joining the team as a Quest Developer and will hopefully in the future, lead the CLs and other Quest writers as they create quests for the game. She is a professional writer with many years of experience. She is also an avid gamer. Please welcome her also.
Brian Pickle will be joining the team as a Lore Conceptualist and helping me with the Dalmite culture, leaving me more time to tackle my other duties. Brian's skill as a writer is amazing and he has already wowed me with several lore assignments. Welcome Brian to the Adellion team.
Now, as soon as these three folks let me know, you will see them on the forums with a real title! I think you will all be very happy with the choices. :)

Hello to all!
Having just taken up my role as Surric,
I have to get used to the working of being a CL.
I hope I can be of help to anyone with questions about the game and especially about the Sakoian Culture.
Feel free to post questions, suggestions and advice to me.
All help is welcome.
Let's make the Sakoian Culture a great place to live in!
PS: I used to be known as 'Variax' (for all the curious ones out there)
I wonder who that Brian Pickle is by the way...

By the mother of pies I thought you were joking! So perhaps I might well stand a chance of being the next Teila!

I hope you're not one of the assassins Teila has told me of. If so, you and I will surely cross swords soon. I am a sworn protector of our current leader.

Ha! No. *Knocks Brynne over with a makeshift club and, dressed in a coconut bra, strikes a victorious pose.*
I just thought it was a joke when I saw the name Variax, no dissrespect intended.

Nice coconuts, Jus.
Will Connie be identified by her forum name? I don't know who that is.

Welcome to Bernard, Connie and Brian. I hope you enjoy working on Adellion!
And to alleviate any possible confusion, I'm not Connie. I'm Liz Shanor, and I've been involved with Adellion for over 5 years now. I am the holder of the ancient and mysterious secrets. :)

Good job Brynne, I have to congratulate you for your achievement! :)
And you too Variax. Hope you guys will forgive me for my rather immature behaviour...I have taken some time to think things over and Teila you were right, no one will care how I feel in the real world...
Gratz to you all :)
I am the holder of the ancient and mysterious secrets. :)

Congrats to the new Lore people. *Raises a toast* Here's to many wonderful tales.
Hello, all. I am the mysterious "Connie."
Ok, so I'm not so mysterious, really. I've been a part of these forums for more than a year, more active at some times than others. I've just been away for a couple of weeks, then trying to catch up on things around the household--a never ending task when you have two preteens. But I'm looking forward to digging my heels in here soon and honored that I've been trusted with this task. Thanks for the warm congratulatory messages!

Just wait.
You're probably referring to the teen years. Ah, but I have a master plan, you see, too sinister to mention here.
Just kidding..sort of. My kids really are delightful..most of the time.
Hey, as one of the sole delegates from the teenagers, I stick up for ourselves! I refuse this sinister plan as being... sinister!

If it involves forced labour, go for it. Can't go wrong with a bit of discipline!

I have an almost 17 year old daughter, a 15 year old son, a 7 year old daughter and a 5 year old daughter...she just turned 5 although she says she wants to stay 4 so we pretend she is 4. I figure by the time she is 8 or 9, she won't want to be 4 anymore. lol

The four elements, balance. Who wouldn't like the number 4 :).

Rayln, yeah, it sounds amusing. A teen-age-adult. Yih, my friend said that she felt no difference after her 18th birthday. They say that the older you get after becoming an adult the less teen effects you suffer. Maybe a part of that is true. Also, in the end, we are all children and even if you turned above 18 you'd still feel much like if you were still below 18, if there are no rituals or hard changes in the life during the turn. The age isn't the most relevant factor. I've heard stories about people who are 35 or even 45 years old and still behave exactly like any teenagers. Then, everyone is different, but is descendand from a very limited population of the first human apes according to the current theories, which rely on the technique that is used to measure the age of certain biological features in all humans. We're genetically so close to each other, that when compared to the other species, we could be classified as an enarmous family that has spread into every corner of the known world.
The path into a colossal star goes throught the tiny white spot we first saw in the sky... howwy,it does happen always or often when I get into writing... I must first start escalating, and then magnify the issue through small to universal, gigantic and omniscient. Then sink some fancy terms in the text and cover the leaks by scientific or pseudoscientific batter. That's why I find speaking hard and the conversations with me sometimes become really distant. Please, don't mind. That's only a sign of uncontrol we all might suffer. In a way. First you feel uncomfortable in silence, secondly you speak and speak too much or past the topic and then you'll seek silence again. And the topics are actually only relevant on the subject(s). Yes? The thing that is actually important in communications is... the emotional intelligence or what they say it. It's not the same as physiological intelligence or intelligence of logics. Off topic, are there other mysteries of life involved in these forums ;)?
